Nutrition Top Tips

1. Keep your blood sugar levels stable by eating wholesome energy foods such as wholegrain rice, whole wheat pasta, wholegrain bread.

2. Eat at least your body weight in protein each day e.g. Weight = 70kg Protein consumption = 70grams p/day minimum.

3. Reduce Bad fats in your diet usually found in ready meals, fast food and biscuits.

4. Increase Good fats found in raw nuts and seeds, fish oils and extra virgin olive oil.

5. Drink at least 2litres of water per day.

6. If your looking for weight loss then you must reduce carbohydrates as the day goes on these are energy foods such as potato, rice, pasta and bread.

7. Train at least 3 x per week and be as active as you can in every day life e.g. take the stairs not the lift.

8. Don’t constantly weigh yourself use weight, body fat, measurements and clothes sizes. Once a month is an ideal time between weigh in.
